"In recent months, President Ilham Aliyev has paid visits to Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. He is currently on a state visit to Kazakhstan."
This was stated by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hikmat Hajiyev, on his "X" account.
According to him, while relations between Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries were previously described by the "5+1" formula, today this concept has moved beyond a mathematical expression and transformed into a political and historical reality.
"These relations now form a unified '6-member' model. This is a manifestation of geopolitical unity reflecting the deepening of integration based on common history, culture, traditions, ethnic and linguistic proximity, and a shared destiny," Hikmat Hajiyev noted.
