Illegally placed advertising billboards on the facades of historical architectural monuments located in Ganja city have been dismantled.
This was reported by the State Advertising Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was stated that at this stage, the number of objects where advertising broadcasts were stopped was close to 30, and the number of dismantled advertisements exceeded 40. In addition to removing advertisements that damaged the facades of historical monuments, educational discussions were held with property owners, and the requirements of the legislation were explained to them.
The aim is to preserve the original appearance of historical architectural monuments, create an aesthetic advertising environment in open spaces, and prevent the broadcast of commercial advertisements that do not comply with legislative requirements.
It was noted that control measures in this direction will be continued by the Ganja Regional Advertising Department.
