February 2 – In honor of Azerbaijan Youth Day, a meeting was organized at the Children's Shelter and Reintegration Center, a social service institution of the "Children of Azerbaijan" Public Union. The event was jointly organized by Yeni Klinika, the Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Trade Union of Healthcare Workers, and the Yeni Klinika Trade Union Committee.
The meeting, held within the framework of the social project titled "We Are the Future," was attended by the leadership, medical, and non-medical staff of Yeni Klinika.
The main goal of the event was to provide medical and moral support to youth and vulnerable social groups, promote their integration into society, and simultaneously propagate the values of social responsibility.
During the meeting, the chairperson of the "Children of Azerbaijan" Public Union, Kamala Agazade, noted that the opening ceremony of the building established for the organization was held in March 2025 with the participation of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva, head of Baku Media Center. She emphasized that children from vulnerable groups, deprived of parental care and subjected to violence, are constantly kept under state attention.
K. Agazade stated that approximately 50 children subjected to violence at the shelter are undergoing rehabilitation and expressed her gratitude for the attention and support provided. She stressed that such meetings make a significant contribution to the psychological well-being of children and the formation of their confidence in the future.
Speaking at the meeting, Barat Yusubov, director of Yeni Klinika, stated that Yeni Klinika not only provides high-quality medical services but also prioritizes active participation in social initiatives and contributing to the development of youth.
The director noted that the healthy, educated, and socially active upbringing of children is one of society's primary responsibilities.
Gulnar Nuriyeva, deputy director of Yeni Klinika and head of the Reproductive Health and Family Planning Center, stated that they are always ready to support the medical examinations of women and children living in the shelter.
During the meeting, future cooperation opportunities, including the organization of educational training on first aid, were also discussed.
