Elvin Elmar oglu Shahverdiyev has been appointed Deputy Head of the Electronic Security Service (ESS), which operates under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
Prior to this appointment, Elvin Shahverdiyev, who served as the Head of the Cybersecurity Management Sector of the ESS and also temporarily performed the duties of Deputy Head, has nearly 15 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity.
The Deputy Head, who graduated from the "Automation and Information Technology" faculty of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, began his professional career in 2009 in the Information Technology department of "ADA-Trade" Closed Joint Stock Company. From 2015 to 2022, he held various leadership positions in the Risk Management and Security Department of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 2024, he has continued his activities at ESS.
