With the completion of the registration, the AQC's management structure has been formalized in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. This decision has created an opportunity for a more systematic organization of the Society's activities and for ensuring transparency and sustainability in management.
The new board of directors will continue its activities in the coming period aimed at increasing professionalism in the field of valuation, protecting the interests of members, strengthening awareness-raising efforts in the field, and applying international experience. The Azerbaijan Valuers Society plans to further expand its cooperation with state institutions, the private sector, and international partners.
We would like to remind you that the Azerbaijan Valuers Society (AQC) was established in 1998 and is one of the first associative public unions in our country. AQC, which organizes mutual, beneficial, and coordinated activities among valuers, closely cooperates with state institutions, international organizations, financial institutions, civil society institutions, and mass media. To date, it has carried out hundreds of certification exams and numerous mega-projects in the field of valuation. Vugar Oruj, who has been leading the organization since May 2022, is also the president of the Council of Valuers Societies of Turkic States (CAATS), which includes Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with the active participation of valuation associations from Russia, Belarus, and Georgia, representing over 700 valuation companies and thousands of valuers.
