"Apple" devices took the top three positions in smartphone sales in the third quarter of 2025.
This was noted in a report by "Counterpoint Research" (CR).
Analysts determined that the "iPhone 16" was the best-selling smartphone worldwide from July to September. The "iPhone 16 Pro" ranked second, and the "iPhone 16 Pro Max" came in third. Following these were the "iPhone 16e" and "Samsung Galaxy A16 5G". Meanwhile, the "iPhone 16" accounted for 4 percent of sales, leading the market for the third consecutive quarter throughout the entire year of 2025.
Only "Apple" and "Samsung" devices made it into the top ten most popular smartphones. In addition to the devices listed above, the "Samsung Galaxy A06", "Galaxy A36", "Galaxy A56", "Galaxy A16 4G", and "iPhone 17 Pro Max" also entered the top ten.
A year earlier, the "iPhone 15", "iPhone 15 Pro Max", and "iPhone 15 Pro" were market leaders. CR experts noted that "Apple" was represented solely by premium smartphones, with the exception of the "iPhone 16e". These include devices priced above $600.
Earlier, "Counterpoint Research" analysts had identified the "Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7" as the most popular foldable smartphone of 2025. (olke.az)
