An awareness event regarding World Autism Day was held

An educational event dedicated to the topic of autism was held within the framework of World Autism Awareness Day.

The aim of the event was to increase public awareness about autism spectrum disorder and to promote the exchange of experience between parents and specialists.

The event was organized in a warm atmosphere, in a breakfast format, creating an opportunity for comfortable communication and open discussion for the participants.

The event was opened by organizer and host Aysel Əsəd. As a mother of two children with autism, she shared her personal experience, emphasizing the importance of awareness and parental support.
Within the program, neurologist Ülviyyə Quliyeva, child development specialist and family counselor Aynurə Dastan, head of the “Qüsursuz Nitq” center Esmira Qafarova, and head of the “Ağıl nəzəriyyəsi” center, psychologist Şahsənəm xanım, delivered speeches, providing information on early diagnosis, developmental support, and therapy approaches for autism.

During the event, the performance by Ramiz Ağayev, a young mugham singer with autism, was met with great interest by the participants.

In the parent panel, Əsmər Əskəriva, Könül Dəmirova, and Əzizə Bağırova shared their success stories, offering motivating messages to other parents.

Continuing the event, representatives of various development and psychological centers – Aysel Qafarova (İndigo bağçası), Humay Mehdiyeva and Röyalə Ömərova (Brain Academy), Bahar Bayramlı (Samra Psixoloji Mərkəzi), psycho-pedagogue Şəhla Cəfərova, representatives of “İntellekt Toys” store, and Kəmalə Əliyeva (Uğur İnkişaf Mərkəzi) – delivered speeches, presenting information about their areas of activity.
The event concluded with a performance by singer Samira and a Q&A session with parents.

The event took place at Nasha Dacha restaurant and contributed to increasing awareness about autism and fostering a more sensitive approach in society.
