Mammad Ibrahimli, a member of the Presidium of the Azerbaijani Popular Front Party (APFP), who was detained by the State Security Service, has been charged.
He has been charged under Article 278.1 of the Criminal Code (actions aimed at forcibly seizing or forcibly retaining power, or forcibly changing the constitutional order of the state).
It should be noted that the chairman of the Azerbaijani Popular Front Party (APFP), Ali Karimli, and Mammad Ibrahim, a member of the party's Presidium, were interrogated at the SSS as part of an investigation concerning them.
After a search of their homes, they were taken to the State Security Service.
According to information, the search and interrogation at the homes of Ali Karimli and Mammad Ibrahim are related to the criminal case of Ramiz Mehdiyev, which is under investigation at the SSS.
It is recalled that the former head of the Presidential Administration, Ramiz Mehdiyev, is accused under Article 278.1 (actions aimed at seizing state power), Article 274 (treason), and Article 193-1.3.2 (legalization of property obtained through criminal means) of the Criminal Code. (APA)
