Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, has issued a new warning to the West.

The editorial office reports that Medvedev commented on the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement regarding the lifting of the moratorium on the deployment of intermediate and short-range missiles, stating: “This step is a direct consequence of the ongoing anti-Russian policy of NATO countries. All our adversaries must now take into account that this is a new and immutable reality. There will be more to come.”

Medvedev's words indicate a further increase in military-political tension between Russia and NATO. Experts assess this statement as a sign that Moscow may take tougher military steps in the region in the coming months.
