UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine Francesca Albanese has reacted strongly to Israel's violence against Palestinians in Gaza.
The editorial office reports that Albanese called on the international community, urging countries that have not remained silent about the atrocities committed against Palestinians to take concrete steps.
“I call on all countries that have spoken out against the atrocities committed against Palestinians: punish Israel now,” Albanese said.
She emphasized that Israel has violated international law and that continued impunity could lead to wider disasters. The rapporteur noted the importance of activating international mechanisms.
