On December 23, the opening ceremony of the new administrative building of the Binagadi District Prosecutor's Office in Baku city was held. The event was attended by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, and other officials.
First, the ceremony participants laid wreaths at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev located in the building's foyer, deeply honoring the memory of the world-renowned political figure.
It was informed that the newly commissioned administrative building is equipped with infrastructure that fully meets modern standards, aimed at more effectively organizing the professional activities of prosecutor's office employees, increasing the efficiency of work processes, and improving the quality of legal services provided to citizens.
The building features service rooms equipped with all necessary technical equipment for comfortable and functional working conditions for employees, a special section for receiving citizens, and conference and meeting halls.
At the same time, the building has been designed in accordance with the latest requirements for energy efficiency and safety.
It was also noted that the "Electronic Prosecutor's Office" information system has been fully implemented in the new building. This system facilitates digital document circulation, increasing the agility and transparency of work.
Following a tour of the administrative building, a meeting was held in the new building's assembly hall.
In his opening speech, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev stated that the formation of a modern and agile prosecutor's office system is one of the main priorities of Azerbaijan's legal state building. The consistent and purposeful steps taken in this direction have constituted an important component of the statehood strategy laid down under the leadership of national leader Heydar Aliyev. This path is now being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, leading to significant achievements in strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies, including the prosecutor's office, developing human resources, and ensuring transparency in their activities.
The Prosecutor General expressed his deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan on behalf of the prosecutor's office employees for the opening of the new administrative building, emphasizing that as a result of the head of state's leadership, constant attention, and care, the organization of the prosecutor's office activities in line with modern requirements, the strengthening of the material and technical base, and the comprehensive working conditions created for employees will lead to significant progress in increasing professionalism, work potential, and efficiency, as well as ensuring citizen satisfaction.
In his speech, the Prosecutor General also noted the significant importance of the declaration of 2026 as the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture" by the relevant Order of President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in terms of shaping modern infrastructure in the country, improving the quality of the urban environment, and ensuring the unity of functionality and aesthetic requirements in the activities of state institutions. Kamran Aliyev stressed that the new administrative building of the Binagadi District Prosecutor's Office is a clear example of this strategic approach, combining modern architectural solutions, functional planning, and citizen-oriented service principles. He stated that such projects contribute to increasing the efficiency of law enforcement agencies' activities and creating a sustainable and modern working environment in line with the demands of urban planning policy.
The Prosecutor General congratulated the prosecutor's office employees on the commissioning of the new administrative building and wished them success in their future endeavors.
He also stated in his speech that the modern working conditions created demand greater responsibility, high professionalism, and adherence to the rule of law from prosecutor's office employees.
Kamran Aliyev called on prosecutor's office employees to constantly work on themselves, improve their knowledge and skills, and build their activities on the principles of loyalty to statehood, honesty, and objectivity.
Furthermore, the event participants planted trees in the park located next to the new administrative building.
