Baku: The Modern Face of Cleanliness and Landscaping

To further enhance the sanitary-cleaning level of the city in connection with the spring season, on April 18, the Baku City Executive Power held another internal clean-up event in the capital.

During the clean-up event, from the morning hours, the equipment of the Baku City Executive Power's Communal Services washed the streets, avenues, and main roads in both the city center and the capital's settlements with detergents that do not harm plants and living beings, and thorough cleaning work was carried out along the roadsides.

Also, the washing of sidewalks, curbs, streetlights, railings, benches in parks and recreation areas, and bus stops was carried out, and cleaning work was done in courtyards and residential neighborhoods. The display windows of public catering, trade, and other facilities along the roadsides were cleaned, and tidying-up work was performed around them.

Throughout the day, employees of the Baku City Landscaping and Greening Association washed away the dust accumulated on trees and greenery along roads and avenues, provided agrotechnical care, and pruned damaged branches. At the same time, colorful flowers were planted, and compositions were created from various colored flowers.

Overall, the large-scale cleaning work, covering all districts of the capital, contributed to further improving the sanitary condition of Baku city during the spring season.
