Based on recent amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses, a ban on the use of electronic cigarettes in Baku Metro stations and trains will come into effect from April 1st.
The Editorial Board reports that the "Baku Metro" CJSC has released information on this matter.
It was stated that individuals who do not comply with the rule will be fined 30 manats.
"Remember that the rules are designed for the health and comfort of every passenger. Let's protect a healthy environment in public transport together! Let's adhere to the rules for a more comfortable journey," the statement noted.
