The company signed TM Forum's “Autonomous Networks Manifesto” document, stepping into a new phase in digital transformation and AI-based network operations management
“Azercell Telecom” LLC took another significant step in digital transformation by officially signing the “Autonomous Networks Manifesto” document, put forward by TM Forum, which defines global telecommunication standards. With this, the company became the first mobile operator in Azerbaijan and the CIS region to join this initiative.
This achievement, realized within the framework of the “Autonomous Networks” project jointly implemented by Azercell and Aztelekom, places Azercell among the operators leading the application of innovative technologies at a global level.
It should be noted that Autonomous Networks represent a management model based on artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, requiring minimal human intervention, self-regulating, optimizing, and possessing the function to automatically eliminate faults. This approach provides operators with higher precision, flexibility, and resilience in network management.
The project's implementation aims to increase Azercell's operational efficiency, further improve customer experience, and enhance service quality. Specifically, it is expected to reduce the resolution time for inquiries and accelerate the processes of launching new services to the market and delivering them to subscribers. At the same time, the automation of processes will ensure the optimization of operational expenditures (OPEX) and minimize risks arising from the human factor.
Furthermore, all existing and future initiatives related to Autonomous Networks for Azercell and Aztelekom are managed in a centralized manner within a unified program, in accordance with TM Forum standards.
It should be noted that Azercell became an official member of the TeleManagement Forum (TM Forum), an international alliance of prestigious companies operating in the telecommunications and technology sector, in 2025. The company aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the digital ecosystem in the country through the application of innovative technologies and strategic initiatives.
