As of October 1 this year, out of Azerbaijan's state-guaranteed debt, which amounted to 10 billion 686.5 million manats (8.2% of GDP), 9 billion 24.1 million manats (5 billion 308.3 million US dollars) or 84.4% accounted for foreign loans, while 1 billion 662.4 million manats or 15.6% accounted for domestic loans.
The editorial office reports this, citing the Ministry of Finance.
According to the information, 79.1% or 4,196.8 million US dollars of the foreign state-guaranteed debt portfolio consists of state guarantees provided for loans attracted by "Southern Gas Corridor" CJSC.
As of the reporting date, 58.8% of the state-guaranteed debt portfolio consisted of fixed-rate debt, and 41.2% consisted of variable-rate debt.
The currency composition of the state-guaranteed debt portfolio was as follows: US dollar – 63.3%, euro – 18.5%, manat – 12.4%, Japanese yen – 3.9%, other currencies – 1.9%.
