Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with ASAN volunteers.
The meeting was organized on the eve of December 5 - International Volunteer Day.
Ulvi Mehdiyev congratulated the participants on the significant day and thanked them for their activities.
Within the framework of the event, a video showcasing the activities of ASAN volunteers throughout 2025 was also demonstrated.
Subsequently, several volunteers who showed particular activity during the year were awarded in the "ASAN Volunteer of the Year" nomination, and responsible persons for volunteers were awarded for their active participation in promoting volunteer activities, active organizational work, and initiative.
Since the launch of "ASAN Service," nearly 44,000 young people have joined this process as volunteers. During this period, volunteers have implemented over 6,500 trainings, more than 850 local and international projects, and over 3,400 volunteers have been provided with employment through the "ASAN Kadr" portal.
