A new phase of international cooperation has been launched between the Azerbaijan Valuers Society (AQC) and Belarus's leading appraisal institutions. During the business trip of AQC Board Chairman Vugar Oruj to Belarus, an important meeting was held with Svetlana Petrovna Yuryenya, Chairman of the Belarusian Association of Appraisers (CED) and a renowned expert.
During the meeting, the parties analyzed the current situation in the appraisal markets of both countries and emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences towards the unification of professional standards and the formation of a competitive service environment. Svetlana Yuryenya shared her experience in the process of creating a unified appraisal market within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), noting that joint activities with her Azerbaijani counterparts in this direction are of strategic importance for both sides.
As a logical continuation of the discussions, practical steps arising from the provisions of the bilateral cooperation memorandum signed between AQC and CED in 2024 were reviewed.
Within the framework of the visit, AQC leadership was officially invited to the prestigious international appraisal forum planned to be held in Minsk in June 2026.
It should be noted that Svetlana Petrovna Yuryenya is a member of the Council for the Development of Entrepreneurship of Belarus and the head of the Association of Appraisers. Throughout her professional career, she has been distinguished by her active participation in the development of appraisal standards in her country and in socio-political processes.
