The Fishing and Aquaculture Center of the Ministry of Agriculture is conducting an initial registration of aquaculture farms operating (both registered and unregistered) across the republic.
For this purpose, farm owners – individuals and legal entities – are requested to provide their name, surname, patronymic, contact number, address, farm area, water surface area of the farm, cultivated species, volumes cultivated for each species, and quantities intended for sale, by sending them to the email address info@fish.gov.az.
The main purpose of conducting this initial registration is to determine the number of farms operating in the country, their geographical location, the water resources used, the annual production volumes for cultivated aquaculture species, and the overall production potential.
The collected data will serve to accelerate efforts in the coming years towards promoting local production, preparing subsidy projects, simplifying farm registration, and improving existing legislation.
Farmers and entrepreneurs are kindly requested to fill out the forms with complete and accurate information.
