US Senator Lindsey Graham has come to the fore with his harsh remarks against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The editorial office reports that Graham, in a live interview with Fox News, used the phrase “Putin, your turn is coming. Donald Trump is about to give you the punishment you deserve”.
According to the senator, during Trump's administration, special customs duties will be imposed against China, India, and Brazil, which insist on buying Russian oil. These countries currently purchase approximately 80 percent of Russian oil, thereby financing Moscow's military machine.
Graham noted that the Trump administration aims to increase economic pressure against Russia and cut off its financial sources in this way. This sends a clear message to Russia that countries trading with Russia, especially in the oil sector, may face severe consequences in the new era of the US.
