More than 10,000 citizens protected their funds by exposing fraudsters.

Ağarza Baxshiyev, an official of "Kapital Bank", provided information about this.

He noted that the innovation introduced last year to the "Birbank" mobile application yielded effective results in combating fraudsters:

"One of the most important steps we took last year in combating cyber fraud was related to the "Birbank" mobile application. We gave our customers the opportunity to check whether the person calling them was an employee of our bank. This means that our customers can now demand confirmation from a person who introduces themselves as a "Kapital Bank" employee during a call that they are indeed a bank employee.

If they are truly a bank employee, they receive a notification confirming this in the mobile application. A person who is not a bank employee cannot send this notification. And already nearly 10,000 of our citizens have used this service to expose fraudsters, and then they called our bank for information".
