US President Donald Trump has issued an order to insure all maritime trade in the Persian Gulf, especially energy-carrying vessels, against political risks and ensure financial security.
The editorial reports that these measures take effect immediately and will be offered to all shipping companies at very favorable rates by the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). According to the order, if necessary, the US Navy will begin escorting tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible.
The US President emphasized that his country will ensure the free flow of energy to the world under any circumstances. He also noted that the economic and military power of the US is "the greatest on Earth" and stated that more measures will be taken in the future.
