Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will ask European Union countries for additional financial support for the military budget.
The editorial office reports that the “Bloomberg” agency disseminated this information. According to the publication, the Ukrainian government plans to increase military salaries to attract more volunteers to the army during wartime.
Considering that it is difficult to provide the salary increase with internal resources, the Ukrainian leadership hopes that a certain part of this burden will be covered by European allies. The proposal is expected to be officially put on the agenda in the near future.
