Redaksiya, citing Defenceturk, reports that Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, met with his Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias, in Greece. The meeting took place as part of the Israeli Defense Minister's official visit to Greece. Greek Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias stated in a press release regarding the Israeli Defense Minister's presence in Athens that this meeting "carries extremely positive meaning within the framework of defense relations that are already excellent and at a strategic level."
These meetings served as a platform for discussions on expanding defense cooperation between the countries and the procurement of new defense systems. Issues concerning the protection of both countries' security interests and the assurance of regional stability were also discussed.
