Currently, rainy weather conditions prevail across the republic, creating an unfavorable environment for road users and significantly increasing the risk of accidents.
This was stated in an appeal from the Main State Traffic Police Department to drivers.
It was reported that traffic police officers, serving in an intensified work regime, are taking preventive measures to overcome the difficulties that arise:
"However, in rainy and drizzly weather, the slippery road surface, limited visibility, and other critical weather conditions require drivers to be attentive and unconditionally adhere to the rules. Taking into account the increased traffic intensity on the roads due to the return of the population to their permanent residences during the holiday break, we once again ask drivers to correctly assess the weather conditions, take preventive measures against potential dangers, and especially to control their speed, following distance, and the technical condition of their vehicles."
