Innovations and daily events in the field of technology reflect the rapidly changing trends in the modern world. These changes affect every area, from our daily lives to business, and create new opportunities.
Redaksiya reports that WhatsApp is testing an improved "notify everyone" function for groups. This innovation aims to ensure that group members are informed more effectively. The new function is designed to ensure that important updates or warnings are not missed by anyone, especially in large groups. WhatsApp will also change the name of the function, presenting it as "@all" instead of "@everyone".
Certain restrictions are also planned for the implementation of this function. In small groups, it will be possible to address everyone using the "@all" tag. However, in large groups with more than 32 members, only group administrators will be able to use this function. This aims to prevent an excessive number of notifications and ensure that large groups remain more orderly. For example, administrators can share meeting times, event details, or other important updates using the "@all" tag without overloading everyone with constant alerts. Users will also have the option to mute individuals who use the "@all" tag if they wish. The "notify everyone" function is still under development and is currently being tested in the WhatsApp beta program. It is not yet available to all users, but will be released in a future update after testing is complete.
