According to Italian police, climate activist Greta Thunberg was detained and administrative measures were taken against her for pouring green dye into the city's Grand Canal during a protest in Venice.
The editorial office reports that Thunberg has been banned from entering the Venice area for 48 hours and fined 150 euros. This decision was made within the framework of simultaneous protests held in ten different Italian cities on the day the UN's COP30 conference concluded.
According to reports, 35 other activists who participated in the same protest also faced similar fines. Officials stated that strict measures within the legal framework will continue to be taken to prevent such actions.
