The influential US publication Wall Street Journal writes that Washington plans to provide Ukraine with the necessary information to enable it to launch missile strikes on Russia's energy infrastructure. According to informed sources, this decision could create a new phase in the course of the war.
The editorial office, citing a source, reports that US officials have also asked NATO allies to provide similar support to Kyiv. At the same time, it was reported that Washington is considering the possibility of sending “Tomahawk” cruise missiles and “Barracuda”-type munitions to Ukraine. However, a final decision regarding the delivery of these weapons has not yet been made.
Experts believe that this step by the US and NATO could strengthen Ukraine's military capabilities, but at the same time carries the risk of further escalating tensions between Moscow and the West.
