This, in turn, raises another question: In general, if targeted social assistance is provided, in which situations is it cut?
The State Social Protection Fund responded to Oxu.Az's inquiry on the matter.
The information noted that the provision of targeted state social assistance is not suspended due to a family member receiving paid education.
The factors that would lead to the discontinuation of targeted social assistance are listed as follows:
"When a house or apartment is gifted to the family (if this house or apartment is not the only house or apartment owned or used by the family);
- When a vehicle is gifted to the family;
- When the representative passes away;
- When the amount of social assistance is not withdrawn from the card account by the family for 2 (two) consecutive months;
- When one of the other circumstances that may lead to the suspension of social assistance and the change in its amount occurs;
- When it is discovered that incorrect or incomplete information has been provided regarding the circumstances that may lead to the appointment of social assistance or the change in its amount (regarding the family's composition, property, and income)".
