BtcTürk, one of Turkey's leading cryptocurrency platforms, has reportedly suffered damage as a result of a cyberattack.
The editorial office reports that, according to initial estimates, more than 40 million US dollars were lost as a result of the attack. No official statement has yet been made regarding the exact date of the incident or which technical vulnerability was exploited.
BtcTürk management announced that it has strengthened security measures to determine the extent of the damage and protect user accounts, and is cooperating with law enforcement agencies and cybersecurity experts. Users have been advised to check their accounts and immediately report any suspicious transactions.
