US President Donald Trump called the documents released regarding Jeffrey Epstein "baseless and a fake Democratic fabrication". He stated that these documents aim to target his administration.
The news outlet reports that, in a post on social media, Trump emphasized that the Epstein issue has been ongoing for years: “The same thing is repeated for years, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein. There are people targeting my administration for their own personal interests. Jeffrey Epstein never seems to die.”
Trump claimed that behind the documents were former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, John Brennan, and the Joe Biden administration: “These documents were prepared by those very criminal circles and used against me. This is the same scenario as the Hillary Clinton and Christopher Steele hoax.”
The President also criticized individuals he called "friends" and said they were instrumental in this game.
