Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with US President Donald Trump in Washington. The parties signed an agreement on cooperation in the extraction and supply of strategically important rare and critical mineral resources. The agreement aims to strengthen industrial and energy security.

The editorial board reports that during the meeting, Tokayev called Trump a “great leader and statesman sent from heaven,” highly appreciating his influence in global politics. The agreement also envisages technology transfer, joint production, and the implementation of new investment programs.

In addition, a new phase is beginning in Kazakhstan's diplomatic relations with Israel. Official Astana is reported to officially join the Abraham Accords, which envision a normalization process in the region. This step is expected to expand Kazakhstan's political and economic ties with both Middle Eastern and Western countries.
