Based on the forecasts published by the magazine, 2026 will be accompanied by high uncertainties for international politics and the global economy. Analysts state that the existing power balances in the world will remain unchanged and tensions will continue in a number of regions.

The editorial reports, citing its source, that a "Trump world" currently exists and this situation is not expected to change as long as US President Donald Trump remains in the White House. According to the forecasts, while the probability of a new war in Gaza is low, the conflict in Ukraine will continue, and the main burden of support for Ukraine will shift to Europe.

74% of those who participated in the magazine's survey believe that a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia will not be signed by January 2027. In the Asian direction, the possibility that US President Donald Trump may make concessions on the Taiwan issue in order to reach an agreement with China is emphasized.

In the economic sphere, it is reported that wealthy countries are spending beyond their means, and the risk of a crisis in the bond market is increasing. At the same time, it is noted that the bubble created by investments in artificial intelligence may burst, dealing a serious blow to the economy.
