"Over the past year, based on appeals received from citizens, legal entities, and state institutions, as well as monitoring conducted by us, access to 429 internet resources containing information prohibited by law has been restricted within the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan based on court decisions."
The Electronic Security Service (ETX) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has released this information, as reported by the editorial office.
It was stated that 428 of the internet information resources whose access was restricted were related to the organization of gambling and the dissemination of information inciting participation in such games, while one was related to the dissemination of information violating intellectual property rights.
The ETX calls on citizens and legal entities to comply with the requirements of the legislation in the internet environment, as well as to report any violations they detect to the ETX via the "1654" hotline, the www.cert.az website, or the email address info@cert.az.
