Participants of the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum visited Aghdam district and Khojaly city. First, the guests who visited the Aghdam Imarat Complex were informed about the buildings, mausoleums, historical cemetery located there, the equestrian complex for the presentation of Karabakh horses, and the visitor center. It was stated that the interactive museum complex displays information about the Javanshir dynasty, historical facts about the Karabakh Khanate, an audiovisual presentation dedicated to the handicrafts and poems of Khurshidbanu Natavan, and photographic materials reflecting the condition of the Imarat Complex during the occupation and after its liberation.
During their acquaintance with the Aghdam Railway and Bus Terminal Complex, forum participants inspected all necessary rooms created in this infrastructure facility, as well as waiting halls, ticket offices, a library, shops, entertainment zones, restaurants, and recreation areas. It was noted that the first enclosed railway platform in Azerbaijan was built precisely in the Aghdam Railway and Bus Terminal Complex, and its length is 350 meters.
Participants visited Khidirli village of Aghdam district and familiarized themselves with the restoration and reconstruction works carried out there. Guests were informed about the necessary modern social infrastructure being built in the village. It was brought to attention that all conditions are being created in the village to ensure the employment of the population, and residents are expected to be provided with jobs in culture and entertainment centers, various purpose enterprises, economic development facilities, education, administration, and agriculture sectors.
Finally, the forum participants were in the center of Khojaly city. Here, they familiarized themselves with the general appearance of the city and the ongoing restoration and reconstruction works.
