The ASAN Innovative Development Center, under the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has launched the "Artificial Intelligence Literacy" program to expand knowledge of artificial intelligence. The program serves to enhance citizens' digital skills and promote the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

The first phase of the program was implemented in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan. Practical artificial intelligence training sessions were organized in four different groups for employees of the Shusha regional "ASAN Service" center, the teaching and student staff of Shusha City Secondary School No. 1, as well as employees of "Shusha Hotel" and volunteer employees. More than 100 participants attended the training.

During the training, participants were provided with theoretical and practical knowledge related to the application of artificial intelligence in daily activities, optimization of work processes, increase in productivity, and development of modern digital skills.

The program is being implemented within the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the "Innovation Center" and "Ateshgah" Insurance Company OJSC. As a result of this cooperation, an AI Zone training environment has been created in Baku, and practical artificial intelligence training has been provided to over 1000 citizens in 30 groups to date. This experience is now being applied in the regions to increase artificial intelligence literacy.

The "Artificial Intelligence Literacy" program, implemented by the ASAN Innovative Development Center, will cover other regions of the country in its subsequent phases.
