The legendary "Orient Express" train, which traveled from Paris to Istanbul from 1883 to 1977, will return to the tracks in 2027. This is an event that has adorned the dreams of travelers for many years, a symbol of luxury and romance. The re-launch of this train can be seen as the beginning of a new era in the world of travel.

Redaksiya reports that preparations for the launch of the "Orient Express" are currently underway. The route will use original carriages from the 1920s. These carriages have been adapted to modern conditions but have retained their "art-deco" charm. Accor, the company that owns the "Orient Express" brand, describes it as an "amazing dialogue between heritage and modernity."

Ticket prices have not yet been announced, but experts believe this pleasure will not be cheap. Tourists will also be able to see these magnificent carriages at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. They will be exhibited until 2027 as part of the "1925-2025: The Art Deco Century" exhibition. According to Time Out, in two years, passengers will once again be able to travel on this unique train, which gained even more popularity after Agatha Christie's 1933 detective novel "Murder on the Orient Express." Passengers will be able to travel in luxurious coupes with full double bedrooms featuring Cartier clocks on the walls. Every centimeter of each coupe has been meticulously crafted by "artisans." The story of restoring century-old designs is amazing: a group of historians found 17 abandoned carriages on the border of Poland and Belarus and then, step by step, restored each of them, bringing back their former grandeur.

In addition, a Venetian version of the "Orient Express" will be launched in May 2026. The luxury train will take passengers from Paris to Italy's Amalfi Coast. After the closure of the classic route in 1977, although trains operated on separate sections of this route, which is over 3000 kilometers long, it has not been fully operational for nearly 50 years. At the same time, the Uber taxi service has also decided to launch its own trains. The first journeys are reportedly planned for 2029.
