The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Səbinə Əliyeva, held another citizen reception in Baku on April 14.
The Ombudsman received the citizens who appealed individually, and necessary measures were taken on the spot for the prompt resolution of some issues. It was stated that other issues requiring investigation would be kept under control and relevant state bodies would be approached for their resolution in accordance with the requirements of existing legislation.
During the reception, legal advice was provided to citizens, and it was also brought to attention that appeals are accepted through the “916” Call Center operating 24/7 at the Ombudsman's Office, as well as via email addresses, post, fax, and social media platforms for more efficient and prompt handling of appeals.
