The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) continues its active work to reduce the flow of oil dollars into the Russian budget and thereby weaken its ability to finance the war against Ukraine. This shows that no Russian facility working for the war is safe, regardless of its location.

Redaksiya reports that as a result of the attack on December 11, production was halted at more than 20 oil and gas wells served by the "Filanovski" platform. On December 12, SBU drones damaged critical equipment on both platforms, leading to the cessation of production processes.

Long-range drones from the SBU's "Alfa" special operations center have struck the oil production platforms of the "Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhneft" company operating in the Caspian Sea for the third time in the past week. The "Filanovski" field is one of the largest fields discovered in Russia and in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea. Its reserves amount to 129 million tons of oil and 30 billion cubic meters of gas. According to the interlocutor, the SBU's drone attack damaged the facility's critical equipment, and production processes were halted.

According to sources in the special service, UNIAN reports that this time the strike was carried out on the platform located at the Korchagin oil and gas condensate field. According to UNIAN, on December 11 and 12, SBU drones had already struck the "Filanovski" and "Korchagin" oil production platforms. As a result, the facility's critical equipment was damaged, and production processes were halted.
