In a statement from the Ministry of Health, it is noted that the state of emergency declared in mid-January in the provinces of Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, and Raqqa due to military tensions between the government and a terrorist organization has been lifted, and a phase of improvement has begun. This decision is an important step towards stabilizing the situation in the region and allowing the population to return to normal life.
The Ministry states that monitoring in the health sector will continue in various regions of the country, with special attention given to the Hasakah, Qamishli, and Ayn al-Arab regions, and that possible health incidents will be responded to promptly. Field visits have been conducted by the Emergency Operations Center teams covering the provinces of Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, and Raqqa, as well as the Deir Hafer region in the rural areas of Aleppo. These visits aim to improve the quality of health services, provide timely assistance to those in need, and enhance the health situation in the region.
