The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has announced that Russian special services are planning assassinations against Ukrainian citizens. This information was disseminated based on intelligence data obtained by the country's defense forces. Such threats raise serious concerns about the safety of Ukrainian citizens in a continuing war.

Redaksiya reports that, according to information released by the SBU, Russian special services are planning physical violence and assassinations against individuals living or operating in Ukraine. The list of targeted individuals consists of citizens deemed "dangerous" by Russia. This list includes the names of political activists, journalists, military personnel, and other public figures. The SBU stated that it is carrying out operations to prevent these plans.

The assassinations were primarily planned to be carried out through explosions, deliberate accidents, or poisoning. Russian special services intended to use their agents within Ukraine or mercenaries brought in from foreign countries to carry out these operations. The SBU has arrested or detained several individuals to expose and prevent these plans.

Ukrainian authorities have urged citizens to be cautious and to immediately contact law enforcement agencies if they encounter suspicious circumstances. Such threats once again demonstrate the importance of strengthening the country's security system in a state of war.
