Russian troops have dislodged the grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the village of Chunishino, located southeast of the city of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk). This was reported today, October 5, by Igor Kimakovsky, advisor to the head of the DPR.

He added that fighting continues, and Russian troops are trying to advance further. Kimakovsky also noted that although the AFU's resistance is strong, Russian troops are trying to achieve their objectives.
Kimakovsky also emphasized that the situation in the Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) direction is tense. He stated that fierce fighting is taking place around the city, and both sides are trying to hold their positions. Kimakovsky also added that Russian troops are advancing towards the city and trying to break through the AFU's defense line. The outcome of the battles in this direction will be known in the coming days.
