The appeal regarding the change of the pre-trial detention measure chosen against singer Rəqsanə İsmayılova has been heard.
According to Oxu.Az, during the process held at the Baku Court of Appeal, a decision was made, and Rəqsanə İsmayılova's complaint was not satisfied.
The pre-trial detention measure chosen by the court of first instance against the singer has been upheld.
It should be noted that on August 16, as a result of measures taken by police officers in Sabunçu district based on complaints received from citizens, Rəqsanə İsmayıl qızı İsmayılova, born in 1979, who was accused of fraud, was detained.
Investigations revealed that she fraudulently obtained gold jewelry worth a total of 35,000 manats and 520,000 US dollars from two victims.
Regarding the mentioned facts, a criminal case was initiated at the Sabunçu District Police Department under the article of the Criminal Code concerning fraud causing particularly large-scale damage, and R. İsmayılova was detained as an accused and brought into the investigation. By court decision, a four-month pre-trial detention measure was chosen for her.
