As we reported, former head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev has been brought to criminal responsibility. By court decision, he was sentenced to 4 months of house arrest.
According to information given to "Unikal" by relatives of the former PA head, Ramiz Mehdiyev was unable to attend the court. For this reason, the court proceedings were held online.
It should be recalled that Ramiz Mehdiyev is 87 years old. The former head of the PA is accused under Articles 278 (forcible seizure or retention of power), 274 (treason), and 193-1 (legalization of criminally obtained property) of the Criminal Code.
