The "Ramiz Hacıyev" crane vessel, belonging to ASCO, a company within AZCON Holding, has undergone major repairs.

As part of the process, the main and auxiliary engines, pumps, capstan, oil and water coolers, air cylinder fittings, auxiliary engine generators, electric motors for various purposes, and piping systems were repaired.

Simultaneously, all necessary inspection and repair work was carried out on the automation, navigation equipment, and electrical parts. Essential work was done in the crew's living quarters and mess halls, and watertight doors, portholes, and ventilation hatches were repaired.

All directional rollers of the 40-ton crane were dismantled and removed, and after major repairs, they were reinstalled.

To check the technical condition of the underwater hull, the vessel was lifted onto the shipyard. Repair work was carried out on the propeller-rudder systems, bottom and side fittings, and sacrificial anodes. Damaged metal plates and protective metal belts on the underwater and above-water sections were replaced. After cleaning and painting were completed, protective fenders on both sides were renewed.

Upon completion of the work, testing of the vessel's crane mechanism was conducted and successfully concluded. To verify the operation of the mechanical and electrical equipment, the vessel was taken out for sea trials. Following the successfully completed trials, the "Ramiz Hacıyev" has been returned to service.
