Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted of sexual abuse, has been questioned by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding “more than 100 individuals” in connection with the Jeffrey Epstein case.
The editorial office reports that her lawyer, David Oscar Markus, provided this information. According to him, this was the first time Maxwell answered such extensive questions.
Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year prison sentence, is preparing for her appeal process. Some sources claim that her cooperation with the investigation could be a step taken to obtain a potential pardon from U.S. President Donald Trump.
Although Trump admitted he was open to this possibility, he stated that he has not yet made a concrete decision on the matter.
Maxwell's lawyer, David Markus, noted: “The truth about what happened with Epstein will come out, and the person answering these questions is Ghislaine Maxwell.”
Currently, investigative bodies are examining a wider circle connected to the Epstein network, and Maxwell's statements are expected to play a significant role in this context.
