According to health sources, 16-year-old Shahd Mahmoud al-Medhun lost her life in a fire that broke out in a tent at a camp for displaced Palestinians in Deir al-Balah. As a result of the fire, 43-year-old mother Anam al-Medhun, and her children aged 2, Adam, and 1, Sidra, were injured. The injured were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
Witnesses stated that the fire occurred while the mother was preparing food for her children and spread quickly. It was noted that the fire also spread to another tent, and both tents were completely burned. This incident is a clear example of the dangers and difficulties faced by people living in Gaza.
