In recent years, against the backdrop of increasing interest in a healthy lifestyle, the demand for sports nutrition and biologically active food products (BAQM) has significantly increased. The promotion of these products on social networks and online platforms has further expanded consumer interest.

In many cases, consumers use these products without sufficient information about their mechanism of action, potential benefits, and areas of application. However, obtaining detailed information about the composition, purpose, usage instructions and dosage, possible side effects, and contraindications before consuming such products is of particular importance. Otherwise, this can lead to a number of health risks. These risks include negative effects on the cardiovascular system, hormonal imbalance, toxic effects related to the presence of undeclared or unauthorized substances in the product's composition, as well as allergic reactions and digestive system disorders. At the same time, the compatibility of the product's use with the individual's health status must be absolutely taken into account.

It should be noted that obtaining sports nutrition and BAQM from reliable sources is important. Furthermore, it is essential to pay attention to the product's label information, usage instructions, and to purchase them only from sales entities operating under state control.

The Food Safety Agency urges consumers to verify that sports nutrition and BAQM products have undergone state registration when purchasing them.

The Agency continues its control measures in this area, implementing appropriate actions aimed at protecting consumer health and preventing the circulation of low-quality and dangerous products.
