In Baku and on the Absheron peninsula, intermittent precipitation, including sleet and snow in some places, is expected from the evening of January 19th to the morning of the 21st.

The editorial office reports that this was stated in a warning issued by the National Hydrometeorology Service.

It was reported that there is a possibility of intensified precipitation in separate areas.

The minimum air temperature is expected to be around 0 degrees Celsius on the night of January 19th to 20th, and -0-3 degrees Celsius on the nights of the 21st-22nd.

Due to the rainy and windy weather conditions, short-term blizzards are expected.

The unstable weather conditions observed in the regions of Azerbaijan are expected to continue until the daytime of January 21st, with intermittent precipitation, including sleet and snow in some places. There is a possibility of intense and heavy precipitation in separate areas.
The minimum air temperature is expected to be up to -6 degrees Celsius in foothill regions, -7-12 degrees in mountainous regions, and -18-23 degrees in high mountainous areas.

Roads across the country, especially in mountainous and foothill regions, will be icy.
