Family, women, and children's issues hold a significant place in Azerbaijan's state policy, and important achievements have been made in this area as a result of large-scale measures implemented in the country.
Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva stated this today during her speech at a conference held in Baku on the topic of “Sustainable Development: Family, Women, and Children Policy”.
According to her, the measures implemented, as well as the restoration and reconstruction work carried out in various regions of the republic, including our liberated territories, serve to ensure the social well-being and sustainable development of society:
"Within the framework of the Ombudsman's independent monitoring mechanism activities this year, studies have been conducted on the safety of children in the digital environment, the use of energy drinks by children, as well as small electric vehicles. Proposals for necessary measures in this area have been prepared and sent to relevant agencies.
Additionally, a social video on the protection of children in the digital environment and an educational resource on children's rights have been prepared and disseminated among the population.".
The Ombudsman noted that as a result of joint partnership and efforts, the development of family relations and the more effective protection of women's and children's rights and freedoms will be achieved. (Trend)
