Within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in China, a meeting took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The parties exchanged views on bilateral relations and regional issues.
The editorial office reports that during the meeting, Erdoğan invited Putin to visit Turkey, emphasizing that the invitation is still valid. Putin, in turn, expressed his confidence that Turkey's special role in resolving the Ukrainian crisis will continue to be needed in the future.
During the meeting, it was noted that the parties also touched upon issues of tourism, energy, economic cooperation, and regional security.
